Checking Out the Competition - Site 2 Review

This is a heads up on my recent
"let's see what the competition is up to"
research I conducted on August 20, 2006
(I do not name names)

Let me first tell you that investigating this competitor's site had me almost losing my mind.

Should you find yourself investigating this service and trying to research each ezine listed, you will be driven absolutely nuts with the number of popups that have nothing whatsoever to do with trying to get the information you would be after...

Truly, this investigation and the frustration levels I experienced, would have sent me running to the hills without ever looking back... let alone thinking of placing an order.

The Results:

One Group - 20 Ezines (all my sanity would allow me to do)

Actual Publications Your Ad Would Be Shown In: 6 ezines

Breakdown of the 14 ezines not qualified to be listed:

1. 8 of the 14 did not have a website at all

2. 2 of the 14 were obvious google adsense websites

3. 1 of the 14 was a shopping site/search engine site

4. 1 "ezine" site was For Sale

5. 1 website probably publishes, but advertises hosting (no ezine in sight)

6. I'm adding the owner's ezine itself only because it's impossible to tell what the most recent issue is... taking a guess and stepping inside one of the archives, there is no date anywhere telling me when it was published.

Of the 6 qualified ezines, 2 of the publishers work with me here at My Wizard Ads. The other 4 are unknown to me.

Again, due diligence choosing any service please!
